Iridium

Iridium is silvery white in color and is the most corrosion-resistant metal known. It has an atomic number of 77 and atomic weight of 192.22. Its melting point is 2450℃ and boiling point is 4130℃. It is poorly soluble in water or acids.
Iridium could measure temperature up to of 2100℃ with very high accuracy and repeatability. Films deposited using Iridium demonstrate great oxidation resistance behavior.
