Niobium is a transition metal with white and shiny appearance. It has a melting point of 2468℃, boiling point of 4742℃ and density of 8.57g/cm³. Niobium has good ductility and superconductive properties.

Niobium sputtering target is extensively used in TFT LCD, optical lens, electronic Imaging, data storage, solar cells and glass coatings. At present, Rotating Coated Niobium Target is mainly used in advanced touch screen, flat display and surface coating of energy-saving glass, which has anti-reflection effect on glass screen.
