Supermalloy (1J85) High Permeability Soft Magnetic Alloy
Supermalloy (1J85) High Permeability Soft Magnetic Alloy
Supermalloy (corresponding to domestic grade 1J85) is an iron-nickel based soft magnetic alloy with high permeability, belonging to the high-performance category within the Permalloy family. Its typical composition is 80% nickel, 5% molybdenum, with the balance being iron. Through precise composition control and specialized heat treatment processes, this material achieves exceptional soft magnetic properties, particularly excelling in applications that require high sensitivity to weak magnetic fields.
With its outstanding weak magnetic field response capability, Supermalloy (1J85) is widely used in precision electronics and power electronics across the following fields:
High-precision current transformers and power transformers: Suitable for leakage current protection, precision metering, and measurement and protection transformers used in instrumentation.
Magnetic shielding components: Used in electronic devices, medical equipment (such as MRI), and aerospace electronics to effectively shield against external stray magnetic field interference.
Weak magnetic field sensors: Used in magnetic modulators, fluxgate sensors, and high-sensitivity magnetic sensing elements.
High-frequency inductors and pulse transformers: Meets the demand for low-loss, high-stability magnetic cores.
