The targets are prepared by mixing chromium and titanium powders or by vacuum melting and then compacting to full density. The material thus compacted can optionally be sintered and then formed into the desired target shape.

Chrome Titanium sputtering target has high purity, homogeneous microstructure, high density and low gas content. It is widely used in the formation of thin films for mold cutting tools. During the deposition process, a TiCN coating could be formed which could be applied directly to the exterior surface of a golf ball. TiCN coating could be closely attached onto metal surface. This kind of coating could perfectly fit the environment of Golf course for its excellent mechanical properties, toughness and hardness.
