TiAlSi sputtering targets

The titanium aluminum silicon alloy target material is obtained by finely grinding and mixing high-purity titanium, aluminum, and silicon raw materials.

 

Titanium aluminum silicon multiple alloy is used in the automotive engine manufacturing industry, which has a good effect on refining the crystalline structure and has high heat resistance and wear resistance. The service life of engine pistons, cylinder blocks, cylinder heads and other parts made of this alloy is about 35% longer than that of ordinary alloys. In terms of motorcycle and automobile wheel hub manufacturing, its casting performance, machining performance, fatigue resistance, and impact resistance all reach and exceed the performance of American A356 aluminum alloy wheels.

 

The rapid solidification alloy obtained by using titanium aluminum silicon multiple alloy has significantly better performance than alloys produced by traditional processes, and has the potential to replace titanium based alloys used in the range of 150-300 ℃, which can be widely used in the aerospace manufacturing industry. In addition, with the development of civil construction and decorative materials industry, the potential for the application of this alloy is greater.

 

The TiAlSi/TiAlSiN multilayer alternating coating is produced by reacting TiAlSi target material with nitrogen gas sputtering. The TiAlSi alloy cathode target material is used to change the composition of the coating by changing the nitrogen gas introduced, thereby preparing multi-layer alternating coatings and improving the industrial applicability of the coating. Due to the lower hardness of TiAlSi alloy and the higher hardness of TiAlSiN coating, the soft hard alternating coating prepared by this method can effectively alleviate coating stress, improve coating plasticity and toughness, enhance coating wear resistance, and is of great significance for improving the service life of tool coatings. Adding a small amount of rare earth elements, such as yttrium and cerium, to the target material can significantly improve the oxidation resistance of the tool and achieve high-speed dry cutting.
