The iron sputtering target is a metal solid target composed of high purity iron metal. Iron is a chemical element, which originated from the Anglo Saxon name iren. It was used early before 5000 BC. “Fe” is the normative chemical symbol for iron. Its atomic number in the periodic table is 26, which is in the fourth and eighth families of the period and belongs to the d block.
Iron is also biologically important because it is responsible for carrying oxygen in the blood. It evaporates under vacuum and forms coatings in the production of semiconductors, magnetic storage media and fuel cells.
Iron sputtering targets are used in optical information storage space industries such as film deposition, decoration, semiconductor, display, LED and photovoltaic devices, functional coating, glass coating industries such as automotive glass and architectural glass, optical communication, etc.
